Q: Buick Rendezvous?
This question is for anyone who owes or has owned a Buick Rendezvous.... I am interested in the gas mileage for this vehicle. I looked it up online and the manufactuer said it gets19-26 mpg but alot of times this is not accurate and they get a good bit less. With the rising gas prices I am looking for something that gets good gas mileage but larger then a car so that is why I am lending toward a crossover SUV. If you have any information on this vehicle - please let me know.

Q: Where is the Spare Tire kept in the Buick Rendezvous?
Funny question maybe..but we just got a 2005 Buick Rendezvous and were looking around for the spare tire..where would it be kept and how do u get to it? i know i could read the book but the computer was right here at my finger tips at the moment!
A: i think i recall seeing that tire in the back of the vehicles, right under the bumper. i'm sure i'm picturing your vehicle and i'm almost sure i'm seeing that tire hanging around under the bumper. well, behind and under. it'll be very easy to find if it is there.

I'm thinking of trading my 1997 Ford Explorer for a 2002 Buick Rendezvous. The Buick has 97,000 miles and I'm getting it for $5995. Is this a good deal? Am I making a good choice buying it? Are they reliabile?

Buick rendezvous 2002 you can't read the milage ,how do you fix this problem?
Can you tell me how much this would cost to repair? Is is just a fuse or is it a whole panel replacement?
A: If it were a fuse the whole cluster would not light up, if the whole cluster *speedometer, fuel gauge, ect.* is not lighting up, check your fuses, if not take it to your local GM dealership and have them look and quote you a price to fix it.
Q: 2002 Toyota Highlander or a 2004 Buick Rendezvous?
I am looking to purchase a new car and have a budget of about $11,000. I have found that I can either afford a 2002 Toyota Highlander with high mileage, near 105k miles or a 2004 Buick Rendezvous with about 50k miles on it. Which vehicle will I have better luck with both MPG, repairs and resale value?
A: Normally I like newer and lower mileage.
However this is a no brainer. Go with the Toyota. It will hold up longer and be more reliable.
The Buick did not have a very good record and is not even made any more.
Q: Anyone have any person experience with a Buick Rendezvous?
We're thinking of buying one. We looked at the Chevy Trailblazer and the Ford Explorer, but both of those seem to have transmission trouble. Have you ever had any problems with your Buick?
A: Buick makes the most reliable vehicles in the US as stated by JD Powers and associates.
You should not have problems with this vehicle.
The cons are that you can only get a 4-speed transmission where others have 5-speed. If you really want something reliable why not give a look at a toyota highlander.
The look is a bit ordinary but a great vehicle. Good look in your car shopping.
Q: How do you change a thermostat on a 2003 buick rendezvous?
This one seems a little tricky to me just wondering if anybody had any advice or a link with some diagrams. Thanks.
A: you buy a haynes or chiltons, the thermostat,and gasket if applicable, go home look up coolant system, find the section on the thermostat and follow the directions its that easy complete with diagrams and torque specs not that you will actually use a torque wrench.
Q: Have a part number for 2004 Buick Rendezvous lug nut covers ?
They are gray plastic and look like a lug nut. They cover the nut and have threads that keep the wheel cover on. There are 5 per wheel. Thanks!

Q: How do I remove the headlamp assemby in my 2002 Buick Rendezvous?
I don't need to replace the bulbs, but the entire assembly and I can't get it out. I see that there is one screw at the top of the assembly, but I think there is another screw at the bottom that I can't see.
A: Lugnut above me here has it right,I did one last week.It was easy,just pry up on the 2 fork/tabs/retainers and it slips out with a little twisting and turning.I think the grille may have needed to come out too,if so it simply snaps in .The whole front comes apart with no tools.

What does it look like?
A: Top of the Engine next to the Thermostat housing.
The wires should be Yellow and Orange/Black going to it. It will be Brass colored and should be very easy to spot.
Q: Does anyone know of mechanical problems with the 06 Buick Rendezvous?
Looking to buy a new car and curious about this vehicle.
A: they are not to bad just watch buying the all wheel drive model. the rear ends like to make a whining noise. and get an aftermarket warrenty with it and u should be fine.
