I have a 2002 Cadillac DTS and I use Penzoil full synthetic 10W-30, and I was wondering how often you are supposed
to change the oil? I know its not every 3,000.
A: If your vehicle has a change oil light (most GM's of that era do) - follow that.
Q: Is a Cadillac DTS a good first car?
I plan on purchaseing a cadillac dts performance w/ the Vogue vintage package.Is the dts a good car from 2006 or 2007.I dont care about mpg.My other choice was a lincoln town car signature limited from 07 or a used lotus elise.Any other suggestions.The only thing i dislike about the dts is the fwd.I'd prefer rwd.
A: Go with the Town Car. It has better ride and is RWD. My father has had 3 without any major problems. The acceleration is decent and you can really feel the power of the engine.
Q: I have narrowed down my choice of cars to purchase to the Cadillac DTS or the Infiniti G35x, which one?
I have a quandary: I have narrowed my future car choices to a 2007 Cadillac DTS high performance version - (used) with 20,000 and certified pre-owned with a bumper to bumper warranty for 5 years and 100,000 miles, and a new Infiniti G35x with the premium and navigation package that has a 3 year 60,000 mile warranty. My wife likes the Infiniti better and thinks the Cadillac is an "old man's car" - I'm 44. What is everyone's opinion out there?
A: Both are good choices. Websites often give their own opinions about vehicles, but I wouldn't let that influence your decision. The DTS Performance Sedan is not an "Old Man's Car". If you were looking at a base DTS with a front bench, that's a different story.
I've driven both, have friends that sell them, and know they both have good and bad traits. BTW, a Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned Warranty is actually 6 years or 100,000 miles bumper to bumper from original date of purchase. Personally, I would go with the DTS, but the G35 is not a bad choice. Good Luck with that!
Q: What does the "TS" stand for in Cadillac DTS, CTS and STS?
I know that the D in DTS stands for Deville, the C in CTS Stand s for Catera and The S in STS stand for Seville. I just cannot figure out what the TS stands for.

Im looking for the plastic rivits for the the rubber spoiler under the bumper. Does anyone know what Im talking about?
A: The clips that hold the spoiler in place right? Try the Cliphouse - 800-229-2547. I don't know if they deal with retail or just wholesale but they may be able to refer you to someone who does. If not, contact a dealer, they do sell just those pop rivets/clips.
Q: is the cadillac dts the same as the deville?
is dts short for deville, or are they completely different models?
A: Yes it is the same, the DTS was a different trim level starting out. It stands for Deville Touring Series. Cadillac did thhat to most of their line during the 90's and early 2000's. The STS and CTS are respectively the Seville and Catera. HTH

Q: How do I disengage the seat belt warning light on a 2006 Cadillac DTS?
There is no owner's manual.
A: If there is a problem, go to the dealer and get it fixed. It should still be under warranty.
If you are not wearing your seat belt and the light annoys you, that is another story.
My cousin was killed in a crash because he chose not to wear a belt in the backseat. His friends told him he should but he didn't. He was thrown from the vehicle and everyone else survived with minor or no injuries.
I hope this doesn't happen to you.
Q: how to turn off or disable 2000 Cadillac DTS day running lights?
does any one know how to turn them off or a website that I can go to?
A: DRL's are optional equipment so they can be disabled if you want, most GM products if you click the e-brake just enough to turn on the brake light without actually activating the brakes will disable the DRL's but I think your cadillac releases the e-brake automatically whenever you are in gear so that won't help you, get out your owners manual and look through the sues and relay pages the DRL's usually have a fuse and a relay that operate only them find and remove either of those items and you are good to go, just check for proper operation of the rest of your lights before you drive it again

How much can the tank hold? i know it's the V8 engine but.... i cant seem to find any more info anywhere.
A: 17 city, 25 highway (24 if the 300hp engine)

A: I'd take out the shock absorbers on the rear axle and put in neon lights under the frame of the car as well as huge sub woofers to give it the "hearse-effect." good luck.
