Q: How do I put an aftermarket cd player in my 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt.?
I was looking into putting a new CD player in to my, a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt LS, to replace the stock one. I like the one I have but just incase one day. Anyways I was wondering how I would go about taking the old one out, I tried it once but couldn't find a way. A lot of places say they will install it for free when I buy it, but can I trust them to do it right and not break anything in the proccess?
A: I always contact Crutchfield when I want to put a stereo in anything. They will usually give you, for free, the installation kit, the wiring harness, and instuctions on how to. Plus if you have any problems they will tell you exactly how over the phone. Great Site, I highly recomend them.
Q: Is a Chevrolet Cobalt a good car?
I really want to get a new car soon and I've fallen in love with the Cobalt. I love the look of it. My brothers have Chevrolet Aveos and I'm not impressed. Do you think the Cobalt will be a good car to choose?

Q: Why is my Chevrolet Cobalt is giving me a "Check Charging System" message, and won't start?
It's an 06 Cobalt. I haven't had any problems with it before. But when I attempt to start it, it just "ticks" and the electrical equipment flashes on and off. The radio comes on and plays well, the lights come on, and it still charges my gps (which I removed). What would the problem be?
A: take the battery terminals off the battery and clean them and the battery posts real good with a steel brush and rehook, sometimes just a minute piece of dirt will keep it from making good contact.
Q: Does the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Pioneer CD receiver have an auxiliary input?
My '07 Cobalt has the optional 7-speaker Pioneer pack which includes an MP3 CD receiver.
I've done some research and realized that the standard stereo receiver in '07 Cobalts has an auxiliary input on the front.
My receiver definitely has NO input on the front, but I'm wondering if perhaps there is input on the back.
A: yes there is a plug in the back it is the 12 pin plug you need a PIE interface there and it only works

I have an '06 Cobalt and want that real blue look for headlights. I want to get lightbulbs that would do this. I have tried some and they are just bright white. Where can I get the bulbs or how do I make them blue. I don't want to replace the whole head light. Is there a website or store I can go to to buy these? Thanks
A: Yeah that would be real cool. Then you can get a 5 inch muffler so you can really hear the power of that 130hp economy car. You can get you some gay blue headlights at any auto parts store. The more expensive ones are the ones that are REALLY blue. Not the ones where the bulbs are actually blue, those are super whites. The bulbs that shine blue have a like a rainbow looking tint.
Q: My Dad Has Problems With Chevrolet Cobalt?
Hello. My Dad drives a Chevrolet Cobalt and when he puts the car in park the key gets stuck in the ignition. Does anyone know a solution. Is this a a safety feature?
A: Hi there. Sounds like he's had a simlilar problem I had. Mind you its only one of many with my cobalt.
He needs to get it in while it's under warranty, it probably needs a new cyllinder or starter piece. I had to get a part in my starter changed due to the same problem. Tell him to get it looked at before the key doesn't come out at all. I drove into the shop and my key wouldnt come out. Dont let it get to that point, I got lucky I was heading in that morning for another problem.
Make sure he gets the front end checked too, I've had numerous problems with my tire rod and steering parts and bushings, etc, lots of front end issues. Mines a 2005 Cobalt, the first year they were made, so i was expecting some problems. Good luck!
Q: How to change the bulb in the rear turn signal on a chevrolet cobalt coupe?
well i don't know about cars but i know that my right side rear turn signal is not blinking and there's a faster click to it in the car when i do try to use it. how do u change the bulb? or what needs to be done to fix the problem?
A: get an idea where the offending light bulb is on the back of the car. Open the trunk lid and twist out the bulb. It will have a wire attached to it. Pull the bulb out of the socket, you make have to twist it slightly, take it to the store and buy another and put it in, presto, chango, drive.
Q: What i need to install deployed airbags on a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt and be safe.?
What to do to take off (air bag service) off of dashboard after replacing the drivers airbag, the passenger air bag, the module under passenger seat, the coil sensor on the steering wheel and the sensor on the radiator? Also replaced the drivers and the passenger seat belt retractors. Why doesn't the air bag light on the dashboard turn off???? What else needs to be done?

Q: What is the paint code for a silver chevrolet cobalt 2006?
I cant seem to find my code i know its supposed to be under the trunk rug but cant find it. i dont know the paint color just its silver not grey but silver.
A: The paint code should be on the top or bottom of the spare tire cover. It will be on a rectangular sticker with a bunch of other numbers. It will be towards the bottom of the sticker. It should say "bc/cc" followed by a U or an L. The numbers after the U or L are the paint code(s). The U and L stand for upper and lower in case it has two tone paint.
If you can't find the code just drive the car to the paint store and look at the chip book.

A: If I understand your question, you what to reinstall the deployed air-bag back into your vehicle ????
If you have never done this I would suggest that you don't even try it, it is very dangerous and you can be killed.
Also when this type of job is done the (ECM), the vehicles computer along with the (BCM) will need to be reprogrammed.
Also if you just want to disable the air-bag light on the dash, you cant.

A: There are three commercials, songs are called 'Bump', 'Can't Sleep' and 'Get Away With More'. I have been looking on google and can't find anything... does this help? Wish I knew more.
Q: I had a question about a Chevrolet Cobalt?
A friend of mine is interested in purchasing a Cobalt but I heard from someone that Cobalt's are not made very good because of where they are produced (Lordstown,OH). Something about a lot of the workers at this particular plant are alcholics and come to work hung-over. Just wanted to know if this is true or not. Thanks for the insight.

Q: Anyone familiar with the Chevrolet Cobalt?
I'm thinking about buying a 2005 or 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt but i need some advice... I don't know anything about cars and i want a car thats not gonna leave me broke from gas money and that it's gonna last me a long time... and how many miles is good to get? I can't afford a new one so I would like to know how many miles is still considered good.
A: Go with a Honda Civic. It will go 100,000 miles with no maintenance (except oil changes). After that, it will easily go another 100,000. It would be much more reliable than a cobalt.
