I drove my Grandmother's Chevrolet Impala and it wasn't even supercharged that car was fast. Now, a month later after reading and coming across on an Impala. I found out that they have already Supercharged for the Impala. I can imagine how fast that sucker goes if my grandmother's regular stock Impala was that fast. Is this car definitely fast and who's driven one?

A: Ok the 03 Impala SS had the 3800 Series II Supercharged and it only comes in the Automatic with Overdrive sad to say. It is pushing 240 hp and 280 lbs of torque. It would be one hell of a ride if it was a manual.

I have 2 deals one of them is 2004 nissan sentra which is 120000km and impala 2005 which is 91000km. It does not matter for me about gas consumption. But still please tell us average gas consumption of chevrolet impala.
A: Chevy is better, it also depends on if your a woman or man. The impala is a MAN's car, if your a woman go with a Honda they are mostly for girls.

Q: What kind of intake should i put on my Chevrolet Impala?
I have been looking at the tornado ( www.tornadoair.com ), and it says that the tornado can boost my fuel economy 28%. It also says that the tornado will perform even better if i have an aftermarket high flow air intake system. My question is, what is the best aftermarket high flow air intake system to put on my 2001 Chevrolet IMpala LS? It has a 3.8 litre engine, and has no current modificatioins, everything is stock. A: That's a total waste of time and money. It's unlikely that there is any better intake available on the market for your car than what is already on it. The tornado is worthless too. Any sort of turbulance that it may create will be lost in the rest of the intake anyway. The air has to split up 6 ways anyway, so how would one vortex work?

A: your impala should get between 18 and 24 sometime a bit more if you have the 3,8 motor. depending on the load--people,shopping bags etc..-- and the condition of the car and you driving style it could be either better or worse. the malibu is 18 to 26 roughly.. my friend has an impala with a 3,8 in it and he averages arounf 24 . mostly onthe freeway and very little city driving.. its all in your foot !! good luck

I'm looking for a 1967 Chevrolet Impala, 4-door hardtop sedan, preferably black. I've checked a lot of websites and am having trouble finding one. It doesn't need to be in fantastic condition or anything since I plan to restore it if needed. I understand they're really hard to find, so if anyone happens to read this and is selling one, that would be great help as well. Any help I can get would be GREATLY appreciated.
A: I've had a 67 4dr impala for about 14 years now and have thought about selling it many times over the years. I don't drive it much any more but it runs well and has some some minor modifications done over the years ie: rebuilt engine, 283, bored 30 over, dual exhaust, 4barrel carb with performance intake. It has a 2 speed powerglide trans and Crager SS rims. I could give you more detail about anything and everything about the car if you want. It was painted medium blue metallic a 1968 GM color about 8 years ago and still looks good except for a little rust around the fender wells. Let me know if you are interested or would like more specific info. I get offers for the car every time I take it for a drive but would probably part with it for a reasonable price.

I am defiantly looking into getting a 2006-2007 Chevrolet Impala LT with the Remote Starter on the key fob. I am browsing through the web and these prices are incredible for these Chevrolet Impala's. I saw one with 27k miles for $10k. That is so cheap. I was wandering why are they so low? And I was curious to know are these cars durable to own? These prices are so low now days.
A: these cars have very common problems associated with GM's
i work for a fleet company and i would not purchase one unless it still had factory warranty
some very common problems: steering shafts, blower motor resistors, wheel bearings (not so much on passenger cars),
these cars have special (DEX 6) transmission fluid, that quite often doesn't get put back in when a service is done that leads to premature transmission failure
plus GM is being bailed out by the government, not a good place to be when you're a car manufacturer

I was curious to know if Chevrolet has changed the body of the Impala for the 2010 Model? Does anybody know? I haven't seen no information about it or seen any pictures.

Q: what is the difference between the chevrolet impala LT3 and LTZ packages for an 06' model?
I am looking at buying a used chevy impala. but do not know the difference between LTZ and LT3 they look to be the same but the LTZ is priced higher.

A: The best I can remember is the LTZ came w/ a beefier suspension and more performance. You can check out the links below and get alot better idea.
Granted, the links below deal mainly w/ the 94-96 Impala SS'ss. But, alot of the info carries over the to the later models.
Btw, what is a LT3??? I've never herd of that model in an Impala???

I just purchased a 1995 impala ss, a friend of mine has a 1996. But besides the 1996 having the shifter in the floor, what are the other differences of these cars?
A: the 94, and 95 have digital gagues and the 96 has analog.

A: Well Chevy's are very reliable, with the proper maintenance
anything is possible.. They just had a chevy pickup in the news that just crossed the million mile mark, it had over 300 oil changes.. so if you take care of the car, it can last forever..

A: that chevy impala should be great for any kind of music. their big cars, they have a big trunk space so you can put your subwoofers inside, and you can have a nice surround sound because of all the room you have inside. so I don't think there is anything that could be better than your impala. enjoy the music.

A: I'm not sure its been officially announced but it really looks that way.
Currently its built on the old W-body platform along with the Grand Prix, a few Buicks, and Monte Carlo. The Monte was canceled for low sales and the Grand Prix was replaced by the G8 which is on the Zeta platform. The plant they were made it is being converted over to build the Zeta platform. I cant seen them spending the money to move production somewhere else on a 20 yr old platform that is only used for 1 car.
