Q: Chrysler 300??
Considering purchasing Chrysler 300 and wanted to hear what current or former owner's experiences have been with this vehicle.
Thanks.
Specifically, mechanically, leg room or any engine trouble/gliches ect...
So I take it suspension stinks? They don't ride that low...
A: A relative of mine bought a new Chrysle 300 a
couple of years ago - nothing but problems.
Q: i have a chrysler 300 and lookign for good quality tires that fits the cars manufacturers driving conditions?
i have a 2006 chrysler 300 touring, and im thinking about michelin tires or goodyear tires. i dont know which one to get. because different tires has their unique performance. please help me pick a tire for my chrysler 300 touring.
A: Hello, I am a service manager for a Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership, you can get great tires for less the money! We sell mostly Mastercraft Tires and they do great, you get the mileage you want and still pay a whole lot less than the major manufacturers. Take my advise, do some research!!
Q: Rear bumber of Chrysler 300 full of scratches and paint streaks?
I was in a dark underground parking garage and on accident I backed my black Chrysler 300 into a one of the white pillars. I didn't see any dents; however, it did leave sratches and streaks of white paint on my rear bumper. The problem area is around 8 to 10 inches around. Is it pretty expensive to get rid of it. Should I go to my Chrysler dealer or a bodyshop?
A: go to a good well known bodyshop asks some friends you know of a bodyshop. Don't go to a dealer they may do it right but they charge to much.
Q: How much would it cost to paint a Chrysler 300?
I may be purchasing a Chrysler 300, and I was wondering about how much it would cost to get a professional paint job. It's white, and I was thinking maybe light blue?
It's a 2002 model by the way.
There is no rust or scratches, but there is a dent on the hood. It is near the front of the car and is approximatly fist-sized. I would like a custom color, but if it's cheaper to go with stock colors I will do that.
A: Uhm..well, it depends on the KIND of paint job you want.
Nice, complete, professional paint job, including door jams, under the hood, inside the trunk, etc...anywhere from $2000 to $5000, depending on the color...
Basic, blow-over paint job, omitting all the fine points...you could go from $500 up, depending on color choice.
If you're looking to have the dent hidden, I would have body work done, and then just have them repaint that little spot. It'll save you a ton of time and money.
Also, here's a word of advice, though: A repainted car is not going to resale nearly as quickly as a stock car. People tend to shy away from custom colors. That is, unless you plan on keeping the car forever.
Q: How do I find out if a 2008 Chrysler 300 touring has all-wheel drive?
I am going to purchase a Chrysler 300 trouring and am wondering how you can tell if it has all wheel drive. Is it standard on the touring?
A: Look for the badge "AWD" on the rear of the car, Take the vin number to any chrysler dealer and ask for an option list it will have all the specs on the vehicle. If you have enough ground clearance look for axle shafts to the front wheels.
Q: Why do I see so many black people driving around in the Chrysler 300 vehicle?
I am not sure if its my imagination or not but whenever you look at the driver of a chrysler 300 they are 99% of the time black folk. Are they giving out zero percent financing to black people only? If this is the case I do not think its fair because as a anglo I would like to purchase one of these cool vehicles.
A: They all take turns using the same car.
Q: What exactly the Chrysler 300 shares with Mercedes?
I'm looking at Chrysler 300 and I heard it shares some components with Mercedes-Benz, do you know exactly which components?
I'm looking for more technically-detailed answer please.
A: depending on what engine you get, the transmission could be mercedes, the complete front and rear suspensions are mercedes, the differentials, and alot of the electronics are mercedes. half of the parts on the car actually have mercedes part numbers along side the mopar part numbers.
Q: What is the best exhaust system for a Chrysler 300?
I have a Chrysler 300 limited.
What is the best exhaust system to make it sound close to an SRT8?
Money isnt an issue.
A: Flowmaster 40-series
Q: Where do you find a thermostat for a chrysler 300?
I recently did a engine swap in a chrysler concorde lxi. I took out the concorde engine and i put in a chrysler 300 engine. Now i am experiencing over heating problems. I am not sure what to do?
A: Did you change the radiator? This will be important because there was a 2.7L V6, a 3.2L V6 and a 3.5L V6. You have upgraded to the 3.5L V6. The 3.2L is very compareable, but the 2.7L will need a cooling system upgrade also. Make sure that your water pump is working properly, and check the PCV valve.
Q: Is it my imagination or do every Chrysler 300 is driven by a African-American?
I do not mean for this to be a racist question. I have been told by a car expert that the Chrysler 300 looks like a Bentley and is driven by the black gangsta crowd. Just a observation. Did Lee Iacoco do a promo with Snoop Dog? I wonder if thats where the design came from. Again just an observation and no offense.
A: Getto Bentely? with 24" rims? Please do not take offence I notice that same thing in Dallas/Fort Worth. But I much prefeer a 1985 Chevy Caprice CUSTOM PAINTED with fender vents and 24" WHEELS SO LARGE THEY HAVE TO LIFT UP THE CAR

Q: Does anyone have mechanical problems with their Chrysler 300?
Someone has commented that the Chrysler 300 can have engine problems after 75K miles or so. Has anyone had any problems with this car, because I'm trying to decide if I should buy it or not. I love the car, so I just wanna hear some truth please!!!
Thanks.
A: All cars have their own problems, the choice lies in which problems you want to fix in the future. Chryslers and Dodges have more transmission problems than engine problems but I have seen some engine problems, too. Most transmissions in them go out between 80,000-150,000 miles. Engine problems start about the 75,000 mile mark also. But I've seen quite a few chrysler engines last well into the 200,000 mile range with little problems. It just depends on how well you maintain the entire car (and that's not just oil changes.) Don't use garbage oil and parts, keep up with the maintenance and the car should last you a long time.
The reason why I say all cars have their own problems, Ford vehicles rust out rather quickly and you need to keep up on the fluid flushes regularly or parts go out. Chevy V-6's and some V-8's have intake problems. Toyota and Honda are good vehicles, but both have expensive maintenance items to take care of (i.e-timing belt/water pump at 60-100,000 miles) Nissan have several problems throughout each vehicle. Kias have very expensive replacement parts and they rarely last more than 100,000 miles without problems.
