Q: chrysler imperial?????
What is chrysler imperial and when is it coming out???????????
A: The Imperial concept car will probably see life as the Chrysler New Yorker, with somewhat less over-the-top styling; suicide doors are, we have been told, a “no go” due to safety/cost issues, and it will be “downsized a bit.” Hopefully the lush interior will remain true to the concept.
The New Yorker would be created with a three inch longer wheelbase than the 300C, mostly using the same components. Test mules should be built in April 2007, with full production starting April 2008. Even as the CY (New Yorker) is made, the LX and LC (Challenger) will be produced, not moving to the next generation until about model-year 2009.
Q: I have a 1991 Chrysler Imperial is there a left front speed sensor?
The car is a 3.3 liter, I tryed looking on Auto Zone but could not find such a thing.. Only a Vehicle Speed sensor and a Transmission speed senor.. The chrysler dealer ship tried to tell me it is damaged...
A: The wheel speed sensor is the one that would be on the left front wheel (also has one on the right front wheel and each rear wheel). That is likely the only speed sensor they would refer to as the left front speed sensor. It would cause an ABS light to come on if bad or unplugged.
The Chrysler sensor changed part numbers and goes to a ridiculously high-priced replacement at over $200 for some crazy reason (unless they've since changed it back to a reasonable price, original price was around $50, the right one went up to about $100). If that's what say needs replacing, and they're trying to sell you the Chrysler part for $200 or more, tell them to use a raybestos sensor from the local parts store for about $80, or you can go get one yourself and let them install it for you (We get ours from Advance).
Just an FYI, the ABS actuator piston assembly and pump/motor assembly have a lifetime warranty on them due to a recall.
Vehicle speeed sensor is totally different part that is unrelated to ABS and would cause a check engine light instead of an ABS light. That vehicle also uses an input speed sensor and an output speed sensor. These three are mounted to the transmission.

Q: How can I disable my factory alarm on my 93 Chrysler Imperial?
My alarm key is broken and I cannot start my car. I need to know if there is a way to disable the alarm so that I can start it with the regular key.
A: Look under the dashboard on the drivers side for a red button. If you have one, push and hold it in for 10 seconds.
Q: Where is the fuse box in the hood located on a 1993 chrysler imperial?
I know there is one in the glove department, but I can't find the fuse box under the hood.
A: The fuse box under the hood ( called the power distribution center) is just forward of the drivers side strut tower, in between the battery and the tower, it should have a black cover protecting the various fuses and relays. Relays to the right (9 spots) and fuses to the left .
Q: Why are my tail lights out on my 93 chrysler imperial?
My tail lights just stopped working one day. I took the back lights out and replaced one bulb that i saw looked blown out. I checked the fuses in the glove department. Now I don't know what to do please help.
A: Check to see it the registration plate lamps are working, they are on the same circuit as the taillamps. If they are working then the problem is at the taillamp end of the car. Check for bad bulb holders or faulty earth connections. If not then the circuit has probably lost it's power supply. This could be for several reasons. You checked fuses so it's not that. It could be a faulty headlamp switch,
Check to see if front side lamps are working, they are also on taillamp circuit. if they not working the it's probably the headlamp switch. If you are not experienced with electricals it will probably be cheaper and less stressful to have an expert look at it.
Q: how do i disconnect the alarm on 1990 chrysler imperial its malfunctioned and cant start my car?
A: take your key and unlock or lock and then unlock the passenger side door. This will work if it has factory anti theft. Then start your car. If this does not work, try the trunk same sequence. Hope this helps.

Q: Why did they cancel the Chrysler Imperial?
I have also heard that maybe a production car like it will be an incarnation of the New Yorker, is it true?

Q: Does anyone have any information concerning the rumor I heard about the forthcoming Chrysler Imperial?
I heard that it was in prototype form and that it may be out by 2009 with the SRT8 option, also.

Chrysler is also debuting a 2008 Chrysler 300C convertible in a 2 door, they may call it the Newport, but it will look like a 300.
Q: what to do with my 1992 chrysler imperial suspension?
well it definately needs attention, i cant drive with a full load of people or it rubs tires. How do i know if the air suspension just needs attention like is there a place to add air or maybe a fuse or something. If it needs replacement should i just go with a conversion kit.. whats the cheapest route.
A: sell it and buy a new one
Q: whats the biggest wheel and tire package that i can fit on a 92 chrysler imperial?
ok. yeah i know the manufacturer has their specs, but i'm asking whats a big enough rim that'll still be safe and still have some ride smoothness and that i can fit without rubbing or having to lift it.
A: my friend :
when you say the biggest tire comes to my mind the maximum of what the company meant to be installed on the hub . the specifications are in the next link :

if you want something different then sort it out with your mechanic to come up with different size that can be installed and maybe by changing the hub all together . you'll never know how these people can be creative . good luck .

Q: 1981 Chrysler Imperial, whats the value, iss it going up or down???
1981 Chrysler Imperial, whats the value, iss it going up or down???
A: well here's how we look at collector cars, is it low miles, has it been changed in anyway, dose every thing work and is still there, and how dose it run, hows the body look the paint look.
most state have a set date for what they call collector cars some say 20 years old and others say 25 years old, to some one looking for an all stock like the day it rolled of the line, they will pay more for a car that has not been changed, others are looking for customs as in looks, speed and so on.
if you look in your phone book and find some one that appraises older cars is the best way to find out what you can get for your car, as there is a appraisal book for older cars going back to the first car ever built that they go by.
