Q: How much will a dodge challenger 2009 price drop?
How much do you this the dealers will drop the price of a new 2009 Dodge Challenger SE. I am wonder because i would like to purchase one, but i am unsure if it would be any lower if i bought it now then later. especially when its the first year they made the SE for dodge challenger

A: they,ll drop a little bit if they want them to sell, the dealers are adding too much of a mark up on them, and if chrysler wants to stay in the game they,ll have to lower the price of them some, time will tell what they do ,good luck.

Q: Am i the only one that likes the dodge challenger srt8?
why is it that every time i see a video on youtube of the dodge challenger srt8, some crappy honda or some ghetto car beats it and then people on the forum try to say that the honda is stock! does any body know of a video that shows the srt8 winning? personally i think the challenger is kickass!!!

A: I love it also, wish I could fit one into the old budget.

Q: I have a choice between 2 cars. Which one should I get, the Dodge Challenger SRT8 or the 2010 Mustang GT?
My cousin has a 1989 5.0 Mustang and everyone else I know has a mustang, but I really like the Dodge Challenger SRT8. I dont know what I should do.

A: Dodge Challenger SRT 8 hands down.

Q: Dodge Challenger RT or Ford Mustang GT with a Supercharger?
I'm in the business of buying a new car, and i've just got done test driving both the Dodge Challenger RT (~370hp) and the Ford Mustang GT with a supercharger (400hp), and I was wondering, which would be a better car?

A: personally I would go with the Mustang: -the future of Chyrsler is seriously in doubt and for certain a small production line like the Challenger may be cut (or at least the high performance models....and that means there will be a limited following of these cars by the after market product manufacturers. -the Mustang modular 4.6 engine has been well proven and constantly upgraded. It is exceptionally strong. The Mustang is the most popular muscle car and has been in constant production for almost 45 yrs, and it has the largest following of after market producers OF ANY CAR, and likely will have for a long time....the whole basis of owning a Mustang is to modify and enhance it - that is the tradition of the breed. whatever happens in the auto industry there will always be parts for a Mustang and always be performance opportunities, and they will be at a lower cost than any of the other products from either General Motors or Chyrsler....(last thing anyone would wnat to do today is order a new Camaro, it will likely be dead in the water within 2yrs.). If you have had the Mustang checked out by a pro -shop (compression, running gear, etc) and if you have seen the service records....and all looks OK i would for certain go with the Pony.

Q: where can I find a license plate mounting kit for the front of a new dodge challenger?
The front end has a v shape to it. We saw another challenger that had a frame mounting kit that fit the v perfectly but we dont know where to get one. In our state its illegal to leave the plate in the dash, it has to be on the front and rear bumpers. We bought the car from a few hundred miles away. Because of that, the DMV sent the license plates directly to us and we had to install the rear ourselves.

A: Found one for relatively cheap and it's OEM. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=DCP-68027815AA%201&comp=LRS

Q: Does the 70 dodge challenger have a window frame?
After thinking about Deathproof, i wondered if the challenger really had a frame around the window (if the window is down, you still see the shape). at first i didnt think much of it, but i realized most muscle cars didnt and the doors ive seen are frameless.

A: I own a 1971 Challenger and am caretaker for my two daughter's 1970 Challenger R/T's (formerly mine) and they "do not" have a window frame around the door windows, the rear quarter window does have a chrome metal guide with a felt covered recess for the rear edge of the front window to rest in. I read and was told that 1970 Challenger "coupes", of which I've never seen one, not saying they were never made, I've just never seen one, had "fixed" quarter windows with the same appearance.

Q: How much does it cost to lease a DODGE CHALLENGER in Southern California?
How much is the down payment? How much is it per month? How many months does the lease last for?

A: There is no one answer. The higher your downpayment, the lower your monthly payments. Leases can be for various time periods ( 12 months, 36 months, 48 months, etc. ). Also, a base Challenger with a V6 engine will be cheaper compared to a fully loaded SRT version ( which means lower monthly lease payments ).

Q: Is the 5.7 liter HEMI in the RT Dodge Charger , that will be in the RT version of the Dodge Challenger, GOOD ?
I am thinking of buying a new dodge challenger, The RT , with the 5. 7 liter HEMI. I am trying to figure if it will be a good car to keep for years to come.

A: The 5.7 is a great motor. Dodge pulled out all the stops when designing it. My dad has a Charger and a Ram both with the 5.7 and have had no problems with either. The 5.7 has heavy duty parts in it because of the extra power developed by the hemi pistons. So it was over built to suit the needs of the engine. So I would say go for it. However wait a few months. Their is no need to spend 3 grand over sticker when in 6 months the price will be 5 grand under sticker. They did the same thing with the Charger and 6 months after they went into production the dealerships were giving out deals to get rid of them.

Q: Will the Dodge Challenger come in other varieties?
Currently, the only one out now is the 6.1L HEMI SRT8. Just wondering if there will be other versions like the 5.7L HEMI R/T or the 3.5L SXT. Or is it just going to be the SRT8? Thanks for yall assistance on this.

A: Here si the 2009 model line-up that I know of SRT8 - 6.1L V8, 5 speed auto SRT8 - 6.1L V8, 6 speed manual R/T - 5.7L V8, 5 speed auto R/T - 5.7L V8, 6 speed manual SXT - 3.5L V6, 5 speed auto

Q: How is the parking brake engaged in the new Dodge Challenger?
I was looking at some photos of it and it looks as if it's by a little foot pedal, rather than a center console lever. I've never been a fan of the pedal kind.

A: Just push down with your foot to engage and push again on it to release it.

Q: how much does a 1970 dodge challenger cost?
The cheapest one if possible, in decent condition, don't really care about the packages and engine that much. All im after right now is the tough look of the challenger
